This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website https://www.towerofjewels.com, use our online store, engage with us on social media, visit our retail locations at 896 E Sahara Ave Las Vegas, NV 89104, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy applies to customers, website visitors, gift recipients, loyalty members, event attendees, and other individuals who interact with us, except as noted in Section 13 (Applicants & Careers).

We collect the categories of information below. Examples are illustrative and may not reflect all data we collect. For each category we also indicate typical sources.
A. Identifiers
Examples: name, alias, postal address, email address, phone number, account username, online identifiers, IP address, device IDs.
Sources: directly from you, cookies/trackers, analytics providers, customer support.
B. Customer Records
Examples: billing/shipping addresses, order history, receipts, gift messages, ring size, special instructions, repair/work order details, insurance/warranty information, appraisal requests.
Sources: directly from you during checkout or in-store; customer support; forms; repairs; custom design consultations.
C. Payment & Financing Information
Examples: masked card data (tokenized by our payment processor), transaction IDs, financing application status.
Sources: payment/financing providers such as Pay Pal and Financing Partner Synchrony. We do not store full credit card numbers on our systems.
D. Commercial Information
Examples: products viewed or added to cart, purchase tendencies, wishlists, loyalty accruals/redemptions, promotions/coupons used, event RSVPs.
Sources: our ecommerce platform Shopify, point-of-sale, loyalty program providers.
E. Internet / Network Activity
Examples: browsing history on our site, pages viewed, referral URLs, session logs, cookie data, approximate geolocation from IP, device/browser settings, interactions with emails/SMS (opens, clicks).
Sources: cookies/trackers; analytics and advertising partners such as Google Analytics.

Examples: city/region derived from IP. We do not collect precise geolocation unless you enable it (e.g., store locator).
G. Audio/Visual & In‑Store Security
Examples: CCTV footage in retail locations; customer service call recordings (where permitted/notified).
Sources: in-store cameras and security systems; call systems. Retention: 30 days unless needed for investigation.
H. User‑Generated Content
Examples: product reviews, Q&A, testimonials, social media mentions/tags, uploaded photos for custom design references.
Sources: directly from you; public social media platforms.
I. Professional/Applicant Information (Section 13)
We also collect information you choose to provide that we need to fulfill your requests (e.g., engraving text, special occasion dates) and any content you send to our customer service team.
4) How We Use Personal Information

- Provide the Services (process orders, deliver products, handle repairs/appraisals, manage accounts/loyalty, schedule services, support).
- Customer communications (order confirmations, shipping updates, service notices, surveys, and responses to inquiries).

We collect information:

- Automatically through cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies (see Section 8).
- From service providers & partners including ecommerce platforms, payment/financing providers, shipping carriers, marketing/analytics vendors, fraud prevention tools, and social networks.
- From publicly available sources or third parties that you direct to share data with us (e.g., social login, wishlist sharing).
6) Disclosures of Personal Information
We disclose personal information to:
- Service Providers & Contractors who process data on our behalf under written contracts (e.g., Shopify; Google Analytics; Meta Ads/Google Ads; Pay Pal; shipping carriers; customer support platforms; in‑store security vendors; IT/hosting; fraud prevention.
- Business Partners (e.g., event co‑hosts, jewelers/repair partners, insurance/warranty administrators) where needed to provide services you request.
- Advertising Partners for interest‑based advertising and measurement (see Section 7). This may constitute a “share” of personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising under certain state laws.
- Legal, Protection, and Compliance (to law enforcement or others as required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property).
- Corporate Transactions (in connection with a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar event).
We do not disclose full payment card numbers to ToJ systems; payments are processed by PayPal.
7) Your Privacy Choices
A. Marketing Communications
You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email. For SMS, reply STOP to opt out. Transactional/service messages will still be sent.
B. Cookies & Interest‑Based Ads
You can control cookies in your browser. To opt out of interest‑based advertising, use tools provided by the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). Some state laws treat certain advertising disclosures as a “sale” or “share” of personal information. 10) Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Typical retention periods:
- Orders & receipts: 7 years;
- Repairs/appraisals/work orders: 7–10 years;
- CCTV: 30 days;
- Marketing consents & preferences: until you opt out or your account is inactive for 24 months.
11) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
12) International Visitors (GDPR/EU/UK)
If you interact with us from the European Economic Area or UK:
- Legal Bases: We process data as necessary to perform a contract (e.g., fulfill orders), with your consent (e.g., certain marketing/cookies), for legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvements), or to comply with law.

13) Applicants & Careers
When you apply for a job, we collect applicant data (contact details, resume/CV, work history, education, work authorization, etc.) for recruiting and hiring. A separate Applicant Privacy Notice may apply.
14) Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or other age defined by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us to request deletion.
15) California “Shine the Light”
California residents may request a list of third parties to whom we disclosed certain personal information for their direct marketing in the prior calendar year, and the categories disclosed. Submit requests as described in Section 9.
16) Nevada Residents
Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of covered information by emailing info@towerofjewels.com with subject: “Nevada Do Not Sell Request”. We do not currently sell covered information as defined by Nevada law.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, if changes are material, provide additional notice as required by law.
